We'll let our founder, Sara Gladstone, explain more.
A few words from Sara
I first went glamping in 2012. At that time it was a relatively new concept. The word 'glamping’ had only been in use since 2005. The site was basic, to say the least. That being said, I loved it.
And I was hooked. To the point that within a year or so I took the gamble. I gave up my career in the corporate world to become a partner in a company that sold canvas safari tents to holiday parks, glamping sites, and landowners/farmers looking to diversify.


I’d found my dream job. I loved the concept, the product, and the whole exciting experience. I revelled in the fact I was helping foster forward-thinking clients to realise their dreams of creating beautiful holiday destinations.


In just a few years the accommodation range has expanded enormously. From the basic bell tent through to safari tents and then the all-year-round structures such as cabins, pods and shepherds’ huts. All to meet the demand for the exponential growth of glamping getaways.


What a massive learning curve. Knowledge and understanding of the industry were voraciously acquired. What are the trends? Who are the trendsetters? Which are the best and most reliable suppliers who could meet the demands of an increasingly expectant customer base? Who would supply the strongest B2B relationships?

The future of glamping.

The research was undertaken to find suppliers of innovative, unique, sustainable, long-lasting, all year round, luxury, high-spec, yet affordable products. With a fantastic “Return On Investment”. Over and above what is currently available in the UK market. And, above all, offering that “wow” factor, to be talked about forever.

In July 2020 I took it to the next level and launched Glamping Innovations. Our ethos is to supply unique, innovative, luxury, sustainable and experience-led products. Covid-19 has changed our perspective on what is important in life. Protecting our planet, investing in nature, creating memories and spending our leisure time experiencing and enjoying the simple things will become the future.
