The new Glamtainer is a designed-from-scratch, purpose-built penthouse in a box. It’s not merely a converted container. It comes with CSC Safety Approval, meaning it can be shipped as a container anywhere in the world. And can easily be moved by rail and road from one site to another.

The fireproof gypsum board walls are fixed to a light cage metal framing first treated with fire retardant and highly insulating spray foam. Your “out of the box” extension is made from reinforced, double glazed windows and a fully insulated roof contained within a strong, secure, watertight steel frame.

Whatever the weather, from the Arctic to the Sahara, the Glamtainer can be occupied all year round. With a 40-year lifespan it provides the ultimate long term investment.

You need to check with your local planning authority. It is a movable dwelling so will not be subject to strict planning requirements.
The site needs to be prepared and flat. For the plug and play option the client would need to provide electrical hook up and drainage (sewer and soakaway) For the off grid version then a soak away and water supply would need to be provided.
The ground needs to be level and the unit can either stand on a concrete pad or using ground anchors. The customer is responsible for preparing the site. Glamping Innovations can do this but this is an extra cost.
They are delivered on a sideloader truck. If the site is not accessible then the container can be moved with a crane or a large forklift.

Customer receives full warranty for elements and workmanship, valid two years from the date of delivery for all factory malfunctions or hidden defects. Warranty refers to the malfunctioning parts and/or elements as well as mounting. We offer an extended warranty for the structural integrity of 10 years.

Warranty does not refer to parts and/or elements which deteriorate due to carelessness or improper handling, poor maintenance or overloading.

The unit is completely adaptable and can be used for offices, granny flats, shops, meeting room, bar or pop up restaurants. Therefore bespoke options are available depending on the use.
The unit comes complete with fully furnished bathroom, fitted kitchen, double (foldaway bed) insulation, flooring, electrics, plumbing, heating for hot water and air conditioning. All other furnishings are optional.
The kitchen and bathroom must remain in the same place due to the services at the rear of the unit.
Yes, it is CSC approved so when you close it up, you can transport it anywhere.
It can sleep up to four people with a sofa bed in the lounge area.
They are made to order so approximate lead time is 16 weeks.
